ICT Proposers’ Day 2014
ICT Proposers’ Day 2014 was held October 9-10 this year in Florence, Italy. The main theme of the event was the European Horizon 2020 funding program for 2015 in the field of Information Technology and Communications (ITC) and it was a good opportunity to establish connections and partnerships between clusters entities representing universities, research institutes, shareholders, SMEs and public authorities in Europe.
The event included:
- Information sessions on preparing and submitting funding proposals for Horizon 2020;
- Stands where representatives of the European Commission could provide updated information on the research and innovation actions funded under the work program 2015, and the content of calls for proposals for these calls;
- networking sessions organized according to the Pillars and Topics of the financing work programme 2015 where potential applicants presented their project ideas;
- ample space for informal networking and pre-arranged bilateral meetings between participants.
